These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Draughts.io website, applications, games, online multiplayer features, and related services. By creating an account or using the services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the services.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your sign-in details, and activities performed through your account. Contact us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
You may use Draughts.io for personal, lawful gameplay and related community features. You must not cheat, automate play in online matches without clear authorization, disrupt the service, exploit security weaknesses, harass other players, impersonate another person, or use the service for unlawful activity.
Ratings, statistics, coins, cosmetic items, leagues, and other in-game features form part of the service and do not represent money or property. We may correct errors, reverse fraudulent rewards, and adjust game systems when reasonably necessary to operate the service fairly and securely.
We work to keep Draughts.io available, but uninterrupted or error-free access is not guaranteed. We may maintain, update, suspend, or discontinue features. Where practical, we will give reasonable notice of material changes that affect registered users.
The web service is supported by advertising. When you are signed in with a verified email address, email-based advertising matching is enabled by default. Draughts.io normalizes the verified address and computes a SHA-256 hash locally. Only that hash, not the email address itself, is supplied to Nitro/Overwolf, which passes it to participating identity vendors and advertising bidding partners for ad matching.
You can disable this feature at any time in Game Settings. Applicable Nitro Consent Management Platform choices, Global Privacy Control, and U.S. advertising opt-out signals take priority over the default setting. Merely accepting these Terms does not replace consent where applicable law requires it. Details are provided in our Privacy Policy.
Draughts.io and its software, design, branding, text, graphics, and other service content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms grant only a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the service as provided; they do not transfer ownership of our content or code.
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address cheating, abuse, security risks, unlawful activity, or a serious breach of these Terms. You may request account deletion through the account controls or by contacting support. Data handling is described in our Privacy Policy.
Draughts.io is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the service.
We may update these Terms to reflect service, legal, or security changes. The current version and its effective date will be posted on this page. If a change is material, we may provide an additional notice before it takes effect.
